What this site collects

This website provides public education and routes appointment or referral requests to Indiana Orthopedic Institute. It does not host a local appointment, contact, or referral form, and nothing you read or click here is tied to your name.

The site measures its own use in a way that never identifies you. Two things run: Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-less service that counts page views in aggregate, and the site’s own first-party measurement, which records which pages are visited, which of the site’s own buttons and links are used (the call button, the appointment page, links to Indiana Orthopedic Institute), and how a visit arrived (a link tag from one of Dr. Patel’s own profiles, or a referring site’s hostname). That measurement stores a random identifier in your browser’s local storage so repeat visits from the same browser are not double-counted; it is a random number, is not connected to your name or any account, and is never combined with anything that could identify you.

The measurement records no names, no contact information, no health details, no form content, no questionnaire answers, and no patient identifiers: the collection system has no fields that could hold them. There are no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no data sold or shared with advertisers. This site sets no cookies of its own.

One page offers an optional conversation guide; your answers stay in your browser, are never sent to this site or to anyone else, and are gone when you close the page.

If this ever changes

Any change to what is measured would continue to exclude names, contact information, health details, form content, questionnaire answers, and patient identifiers, and this page would describe the change before it happened.

External services

Appointment and referral requests are completed on Indiana Orthopedic Institute’s website, and this site does not receive what you enter there. Links to Indiana Orthopedic Institute and other sources are governed by those sites’ own privacy practices. Final legal language and any applicable Notice of Privacy Practices link require approval before these pages are finalized.
